Countries we visit in Africa
Zimbabwe is a landlocked country located between the Zambezi and Limpopo rivers in southern Africa known for its dramatic landscape and diverse wildlife, much of it within parks, reserves and safari areas. It is bordered by South Africa to the south, Botswana to the southwest, Zambia to the northwest and Mozambique to the east.
The present name of the country was derived from Great Zimbabwe. Naming the country after the famous ruins was a move to form a national identity from its past.
